 Dr. Arora holds workshop on children eye care

Mother's Pet Kindergarten and Centre Point School organised a workshop for teachers of MPK on Child Eye Care at Mother's Pet School, Sadar, recently Eminent eye surgeon and Director of Akshar Eye Hospital, Dr. Gopal Arora in his talk laid special emphasis on training teachers who in turn can examine the students for common eye problems like refractive error (spectacle power), amblyopia (lazy eye), squint, dry eyes, congenital cataract or ocular injury due to pencils, typs etc. Dr. Arora pointed out that many 20-year-old patients complain in inability to see with the eye while the fact is that they are unable to do so since childhood, which remains undiagnosed. Principal of MPK Kalpana Dhareshwar made introductory remarks.
