INIFD, a leading fashion designing institute in association with Annamalai University,has come up with MBA in Design Management course.It was launched recently in the presence of noted fashion designer Neeta Lulla as well as Sarvesh Agrawal and Manish Agrawal of INIFD.
MBA in Design Management is a two-year coursewith a course fee of Rs 40,000 per annum.There are 45 seats available for the course.Any graduate is eligible for the course.The admisions will be on the basis of personal interview and group discussion which will check the aptitude of the candidates towards design oriented management fields.
The first year of the course will be common to all the students and in the second year students will have the option to choose for specialisation like fashion retailing and visual merchandising,real space management and internship in the area of one's choice.On successful completion of the course one can look forward for jobs in fields like fashion,brands,marketing,events,malls,etc.
A statement issued here by the Programme Co-ordinator of Annamalai University Firdos Dupattawala informs that brands in apparel,textiles,jewellery,accessories,footwear,cosmetics and salons have reaised the retail industry business to Rs 40,000 crore which is expected to grow up to Rs 64,000 crore.
The admissions for the course has been kicked off recently.
