Boating facilities are good, but the entire place is very poorly maintained. No water was available in the bathrooms when I visited with my family. The restaurant is poorly kept and dirty.

My wife and I visited the Khindsi lake and Aqua Sports complex yesterday (April 26, 2009). We were hoping to enjoy the lush greenery shown in the pictures on this and other websites. Alas, most of the trees are barren now in the summer, with their leaves having fallen. We were also quite shocked at the general apathy and negligence of the Rajkamal management that runs this centre. No water at all is kept in the toilets. The restaurant is very shabbily kept and when we ordered food, we could clearly see the stains and dirt on the steel plates, spoons and knives. Dirty water from an open tank is filled in jugs and served as "drinking water." I strongly recommend boycotting all Rajkamal tourist places for their utter disregard for tourist amenities and hygiene. No complaints about the boating though.
