Dikshabhumi is the place where in 1957 Dr B R Ambedkar accepted Buddhism and delivered diksha to lakhs of Dalits. This is the place of Historical importance. It is furthur nurtured and developed by Buddhist Society of India & Trust.

Yes 'DEEKSHABHOOMI' is indeed a very beautiful n big stupa in NAGPUR...It's worth watching..Lush greenary around,beautiful idols of Lord Buddha an Dr.B.R AMBEDKAR n very pleasant n calm atmosphere gives divine experience to everyone who comes here..One should visit this place atleast once in a LIFETIME..
